Review:
It Aint Nothin’ But A Good Time! This show was so much fun. The cast, the set, and the music were perfect. I am so glad I did Broadway In Chicago’s “25 on The 25th” deal. My seats were so great. They were so close (Row B). I’m not a big “Rock & Roll” fan, but I loved all the music. The cast was fantastic. Dominique Scott was great as Drew. He was perfect for the role. He really looked and acted like a wanna-be Rock Star. He hit some really big high notes. Shannon Mullen was great as Sherrie. She had a great voice, but for her character being one of the main ones she did not get to do much. Justin Colombo stole the show as Lonny. He was so funny. Probably one of the funniest guys I’ve ever seen on stage! He actually pointed me out in the audience. He was saying something about Herpes and he pointed to me and said “Am I Right, Dude” I was like “Yea?” It was so cool. Stephen Michael Kane was great as Franz. I loved his line “I’m Not Gay I’m Just German”. Its funny cause I have a friend who is a foreign exchange student from Germany. Amma Osei had wicked vocal skills as Justice. She reminded me of Oda Mae Brown form Ghost. Katie Postotnik was so funny and cute as Regina. The rest of the ensemble was well at the top of their game. The strippers were a nice touch to the show too. Hee-Hee :D. I also loved the set there were these rooms that would come on and of from the same stop it was cool. I have to see this show again! It was so much fun! I recommend it to everyone! I would rate this show 10000000000000000000000000 out of 10
Stage Door:
Stage door was interesting. It ended up being the theatre’s lobby. They cast came out of the left door and I was the only one who was getting signatures! The first person who came out was Stephen Michael Kane. He was so nice. He signed my Playbill and I told him he needed to be on Broadway. He was like “I don’t know, do you know what it’s like to be in New York in the summer, I’d rather be on tour!” He was so nice. Then Justin Colombo came out. He was so nice. Some lady actually came up to him and said you are so F***** funny! The Joey Elrose and a few others came out as well. Then Katie Postotnik came out. I was shocked at first because she looked so different, but she was so nice and singed my stuff. Last to come out was Amma Osei. She was so sweet, she singed my stuff and asked if I was excited to see the movie. I was like yeah!!!!!!! Then the Manager asked everyone to leave -_-. It was still a great Stage door!
